Specialty Classes:
Warning: Did you know that a skin care line can include as little as 2 drops of any ingredient (like aloe gel or vitamin E) and still claim to “have” that ingredient? How potent do you think 2 drops of anything is?
Only by making your own products (or paying exorbitant prices for high-end lines) can you be assured of any skin cream’s quality. Making your own product is always the best way to ensure that you get as much anti-oxidant herb, anti-wrinkle vitamin or any other herbal oil or ingredient in your cream or salve. And you don’t have to spend a fortune!

1) Skin Care I – You will learn how to create herbal-rich, creamy and emollient face and body lotions. It's easy! We start by determining your skincare type so that you can add ingredients that are specific to your needs, including antioxidants, vitamins, organic herbs, even sunscreen! You will also learn how to heal specific skin conditions using an organic diet and herbs. The class includes an herbal notebook filled with information on the specific healing properties of herbs and how to use them. Every participant makes and takes home a 4 oz jar of skin cream, easily valued at $160!
Cost: $200
2) Skin Care II – You will learn how to create herbal-rich ointments for burns, hemorrhoids, athlete’s foot, herpes, psoriasis, seborrhea, as well as salves such as personal lubricants, hormone creams, and breast massage creams. These are easy too! The class includes an herbal notebook filled with information on the specific healing properties of herbs and how to use them. Every participant makes and takes home a 4 oz jar of ointment, easily valued at $150!
Cost: $200
3) Healthy Children/Yummy Snacks – Take you kids off potato chips and let them experience the delectable tastes of live-food snacks and treats. You will learn how to make these snacks. Better yet, give them the knowledge of how to make their own yummy snacks. You’ll be amazed at how empowering this is for children! They love taking care of themselves. The class includes a notebook filled with information and recipes on creating healthy live-food snacks.
Cost: $100/adult. All accompanied children FREE!
4) Special consultations – I will go to organizations and schools and teach classes on health and diet and herbs.
Cost: varies
5) Private Home Visits – You’ve taken one of my classes and/or you know how vitally important live foods are to health, but you have no idea how to restructure your kitchen so it’s easy to make live foods. I am available for home visits and will spend 2 ½ hours to completely re-work your kitchen so that you can more easily incorporate live foods into your lifestyle. I will also answer any additional questions or give you further instruction on live foods during this home visit.
Cost: $250 per 2 ½ hour session6) Dehydrating – Learn how to use a dehydrator to create enzyme-rich live foods. The dehydration process retains almost 100% of the nutritional content of the food. It also maintains the alkalinity of fresh produce and inhibits the growth of microforms such as bacteria. But a dehydrator is more than just a food preserver; foods prepared and combined through selective dehydration, are reborn as nutritious gourmet meals. You can make live-food canapés, pies, pizza, crackers, burgers, and sauces, to name a few. You will also delight in the live-food dehydrator samples. The class includes a notebook filled with information on the benefits of live foods and recipes and instructions for dehydrator use.
Cost: $200
7) Sprouting – Sprouts contain all of the energy, vitamins and nutrients needed to transform a seed into a strong plant. As a sprout, the nutritional value is higher than in the fully grown plant. Sprouts are also extremely alkalizing, a major benefit for anyone trying to restore a healthy balance to their diet. Sprouting is easier than you think! Learn a variety of sprouting methods, as well as how to sprout seeds and nuts for optimum nutrition. The class includes a notebook filled with information on the benefits of live foods and instructions for proper sprouting.
Cost: $140
8) Rejuvelac – This drink is frequently referred to as a “live-food elixir.” Dr. Ann Wigmore says about rejuvelac: “This slightly fermented wheat berry drink is one of the most important items in the living foods lifestyle. It contains friendly bacteria that are necessary for a healthy colon and assists the body in removing toxins. Rejuvelac is filled with B complex vitamins and vitamins C and E.” Learn the extreme benefits of Rejuvelac as well as how to make your own Rejuvelac with this easy hands-on class. The class includes a notebook filled with information on the benefits of live foods and how to make your own Rejuvelac. During the class you’ll also experience the vibrant taste of fresh Rejuvelac.

You will also enjoy samples of live-foods featuring the specific item.
Cost: $80
10) Specialty Foods – I offer these classes to focus on specialty foods such as Nori, cacao, or jicama. Not only will you learn a wide variety of ways to prepare the foods, you’ll learn about their nutritional value and importance while you sample live-food offerings featuring that specific food.
Cost: $80

Why you shouldn't cleanse alone:
One of the most common questions about supervised cleansing is, “Why can’t I just do it myself, at home?” There are some very important reasons why the group support and guidance you’ll receive from Kathy is critical:
1) A cleansing fast is not a starvation fast. During Kathy’s cleanses you are eating a variety of live-food soups and smoothies. Knowledge of proper preparation is critical or you will not get the fasting/cleansing benefits from these foods.
2) Coming off a fast properly is essential to preventing severe detoxifying symptoms. Kathy is an expert at guiding you onto and then off your fast so that you will garner the most health benefits with none of the discomfort you could experience through improper fast management. Don’t chance improper fasting by going it alone.
3) Enema’s are a critical part of a cleansing fast. Without them toxins can build up in the intestines and cause moderate to severe discomfort. A cleansing fast supervised by Kathy will instruct you in proper enema techniques and alleviate unneeded discomfort.
Do-it-yourself fasting is a recipe for discomfort and inefficient cleansing.
Let Kathy’s experience guide you to maximum health benefits
and minimum fasting discomfort.
